Last Sunday my daughter, grand-daughter and I set of for NESS Champ. show with Frankie and Tory. It is always a lovely show with a Christmas theme and the day was dry and sunny. Frankie got 2nd in Yearling and Tory was 2nd in Limit. Jan's Jazzy was 3rd in Veteran.
October has been quite a busy month for me with lots of driving. On October 21st I drove up to Middlewich in Cheshire to take the A3 judging assessment day for the Irish Red and White Setters and to-day I received the Certificate to say I've passed. Very thrilled!
The following Sunday I took a simialr journey to Stafford for Midland Counties Championship Show where I had entered Woody and Frankie under Lorna Howarth. Woody won open dog and then his 4th CC and later B.O.B. Frankie won the Yearling class so another lovely day. Flutter was also there and got 3rd in the Post Graduate class. Now the dogs and I am having a rest until December, not that keen on driving miles in dark, poor conditions.

Tory won the Open bitch class and her first CC so a lovely way to finish as now we have a break for a month.

A sad month...
June has been such a very sad month for us. Our beautiful, funny and full of character "DOUBLET" (Double Desire) suddenly became very ill and to prevent any suffering she was put to sleep. She became a SHOW CHAMPION at just over 18 months but she was a true champion to live with. She had two lovely litters, we have 3 of her children, FLORIN, TORY AND WOODY, all of whom have many of her wonderful characteristics.
26th May Hazel and I drove to Bath Championship show in lovely warm sunny conditions.
Hazel got 4th in Graduate and 3rd in Post Grad. with Ortley. I won 1st with Frankie in Junior
with a Woody daughter 2nd (Gillancette Emerald Lady). In Limit Tory was 2nd to the BOB winner.
