N.E.S.S.
My last show for 2013 was at N.E.S.S. last weekend. George Burton judged the bitches, Frankie won the Post Graduate class and Tory was 3rd in the open class. This hopefully will be her last show for a while as we intend to mate her when she comes in season.
Results S.E.S.S. Ch.Show
Yesterday the 17th November I took Tory and Frankie down to the S.E.S.S. Championship Dog Show where Dominic Goutorbe was judging the bitches. Frankie was 2nd in Post Graduate and Tory 3rd in Open. Our final show for the year is in a fortnights time which is probably a good thing as my beautiful clean dogs that I brought home are now filthy again!! Now we have a different role as our 3 year old grand-daughter is staying with us while her Mother is of to Dubai and Mauritus!!
Yesterday the 27th October I took Tory and Frankie to Stafford to Midland Counties show. Linda Upton was our judge and Frankie got a 2nd in Post Graduate and Tory won the Open class. Having not been to any show since Richmond it was lovely to be at a show again.
A day at Newmarket
On the 4th Sept. I went down to Newmarket to see the only foal to be born at Tattersett who is now 11 years old. Carina who owns him was doing the sponsored ride round the gallops at Newmarket, the only day when non racehorses are allowed. It was so lovely to see both of them.
Show news
Ann Hepburn's Raffles (T. Don't Push It) has had a wonderful last 3 shows, at WKC under Linda Cooper he won Graduate and the same class at City of Birmingham under Carol Guy and at Darlington (Jenny Miller) he won Post Graduate. His brother Lynn Sketchley's That's Rhythm was 2nd in Post Graduate at Richmond.
Pups and show
After 2 months I went to Richmond Ch. show with Frankie and Tory. The judge was Keith Young and both Frankie and Tory were awarded 3rd in their respective classes, post Grad and open. The pups are soon to go to their new homes and we intend to run Spirit on. Hopefully she will appear at some shows in 2014.
Windsor
Thursday 27th June saw Tory and me heading for Windsor where Chris Moorhouse was judging. She came 3rd in Open and we had an enjoyable time there before heading home and getting stuck in really bad traffic jams!
Sunday the 7th July was East of England Show which distance wise is our local show but still takes us nearly 2 hours! Tony came with me and we took Frankie and Tory. The judge was Peter Upton and Frankie's 2 brothers were in Graduate dog and came 3rd and 4th. Frankie was alone in Graduate bitch and Flutter was alone in Mid Limit. Tory was 2nd in Open and then Frankie was awarded her 2nd Res. CC.
This is a photo of Tory and Frankie cool in their cool coats, it was a megga hot day with temperatures nearing 30C

Sunday 9th June was Three Counties Gundog day and the first show we have been to with our dogs since Crufts. Rod Green was our judge and he gave us a most enjoyable day with Franke (Frankel) winning a lovely Graduate class and Tory (Doctor In Love) getting 2nd in Open and the Res. C.C.
CRUFTS 2013 proved to be a rather painful experience for me and I must thank my friends who helped me so much after the judging was over.
I took Frankie(Frankel) who was 4th in the Yearling class and Tory (Doctor in Love) who was in the largest class of the day, Limit, and she was 3rd. Jan Hall's Jazz (T. Dreaming Away of K) was 3rd in Veteran.
Now we will all have a long rest while my back and hip gets some treatment and hopefully when we get some warmer weather we will be back !

We are so thrilled that our beautiful Doublet who we sadly lost in 2012 has
won the Dog World/Lintbells Top Brood Bitch Award for 2012. Her progeny
Woody and Tory helped her gain this award.
