Show results and hopefully exciting news soon...
Because I thought Pebbles was in whelp I didn’t enter any shows but fortunately the entries hadn’t closed for Setter & Pointer so I sent in an entry and took Connie under judge Karen Sillence and she was 2nd in Open. Then on November 17th we went to the Southern English Setter breed Championship show. Ann had Raffles in Veteran Dog and got a 2nd and Trish had Gus in Graduate with Henrietta handling him and he also got 2nd. The dogs were judged by David Howarth. Neil Kelly judged the bitches and Honey won the Limit class and was then awarded the Reserve C.C. Connie was 3rd in Open. That was my last show showing our dogs for the year as I judged Brittany at LKA but Trish and Gus went and with Henrietta he won the Graduate class under Linda Upton. That ended 2019, a really successful year as I don’t enter that many shows.
At the start of 2020 I took Pebbles to Boston Show for an outing and she won the Open class and Reserve Best Bitch, no tickets at this show but she enjoyed her outing! Last weekend on the 2nd February we went to MESS Breed show where Barbara Cherry judged the dogs and Karen Stirk the bitches. Ann had Raffles in Veteran and was 3rd, Gus won the Graduate class with Henrietta. Both Honey and Connie were 3rd in their respective classes. Now there will be no more shows until April as Inca is due to whelp in the next few days. I will update the news page once she has had them!!!
